Porter Moseris an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at Loyola University Chicago. Originally from Naperville, Illinois, Moser attended and played varsity basketball at Benet Academy. Moser previously held the head coaching position at Illinois Stateand Arkansas-Little Rock. We will have to have poise. You know they are going to be keyed up. You know they have their non-alcoholic champagne on ice. The place is sold out. It's going to be a great atmosphere. We want to have the approach that the pressure is on them.

The students are our sixth man. They pump us up and I think we play much better with the students behind us. We have a comfort level when we play at home.

We have some really good young players. And they're coming and getting better everyday. The more guys you have producing the better your team is going to be. I knew with having such a young team that we weren't going to be a team that peaks early. We are still in a learning process and we are getting better. That's why I'm excited about this team down the stretch. Our group still has a lot of room for improvement.

We knew we didn't have guys who had averaged a lot of points at this level. We didn't have one player who had averaged double figures at this level. But you have to give the guys credit because their attitude and resiliency. Every day they come in trying to win games.

It's a combination of a season that I've never been a part of where we were just completely decimated at point guard. Tonight just magnified it, as many games this season have.

Whenever you face Southern, you are going to see the same thing. You are going to see physical defense and guys that believe they are going to win, no matter what the score is.

A lot of things were overwhelming for him. He had to make a lot of adjustments. We tried to give him less to take in by moving him off the point. He has the ability to play the point. We just need him to get more comfortable.
