definitely opportunity reason stayed
(The opportunity for completions has) definitely been there. But for some reason we've kind of stayed away from it a little bit.
coaches definitely dreamed family growing kid lost monday night players playing scattered team
As a kid growing up, you always dreamed of playing on 'Monday Night Football,' ... This is a different situation. You've got players and coaches on their team that lost homes, have scattered family members. They definitely have a lot to come out and play for, and doing it on a Monday night stage, because of the situation, they're definitely going to be emotional.
afraid anxious ball confidence definitely stick throw work
He's definitely not afraid to stick it in there. He's going to throw the ball in traffic. He has a lot of confidence in his arm. But if I was that big, I'd have that much confidence too. We're all anxious to see how it's going to work out. The world's definitely going to get to see what he's got.
achieve averaged catch games last less opportunity people per receiver yards
Some people say I may have underachieved when I was in Pittsburgh, ... But you have to have the opportunity to achieve anything, period, much less overachieve. And I think I was a big-play receiver in Pittsburgh. I only averaged 20 yards per catch (actually 19.8 in 11 games last year).
best plays practice
We established that in practice during the week. He'll look for me to make plays and I'll do my best for him.
anyone blame face position slap
We can't blame anyone but ourselves. We didn't play as well as we wanted to. We know we were sputtering offensively and defensively. It's kind of a slap in the face and now we're in the position we're in.
based black diamond drives drove fancy liked perception player seen team wears
I was never really liked in that city. I mean, I don't think I was liked as a person. I was kind of seen as a black kid, young African-American, cornrows, drives fancy cars, wears diamond earrings, things like that. They just kind of based their perception off of what I drove and what I did and things like that. All those things were never a part of any other player on that team but me.
believe challenge everybody people ready start week
I think it will be a challenge for us because people are going to start gunning for us now. We've just got to be ready each week to make everybody believe in us.
build few needed plays
We needed things like that to build our confidence. Make a few plays like that, we'll do something in the playoffs.
order
We've got to get things in order off the field, too.
balls four suit three
Three or four balls just doesn't suit me very well.
known matter special
I can't even get a read on him or how he's feeling. As long as I've known him this year, he's been the same, no matter what. What's so special about this game?
figured gone miss
I don't think he should have gone that far. I figured I'd get fined, but I didn't think I'd miss the whole first quarter.
believe bit capable everybody football job motivates people team thinking worst
I don't think people really believe that we can get the job done. There's still a lot of people thinking that we can't make the playoffs. We're a 3-1 football team and they still think we're the worst team in this division. That kind of motivates us a little bit to go out and show everybody what we're really capable of doing.
