came hits needed
They came up with the big hits when they needed them. They did the same thing (Monday).
bats good happen night pitch roy swinging
They were swinging the bats pretty good and it didn't look like things were going to happen with a big night offensively. So Roy had to pitch well, and he did. So did Brad.
counts fight people pitches strike taylor
Taylor pitched very well. He pitched all his pitches very well, right at the strike zone. He got fatigued at the end and still managed to fight back in counts and get people out.
catch sworn
Sworn to secrecy, You better catch it early.
ball bottom certainly figure good zone
It's certainly unusual. But how do you figure something like that? He pitched a good game. He located the ball very well at the bottom of the zone and when you do that, you're going to have success.
again certainly chance reached score
It's certainly reached a frustrating point, ... He pitched so well again today. We only had one chance to score a run, but we couldn't do it. It's been frustrating. It's reached a very frustrating level.
again great guy man missed super threw
I told Bruntlett he missed the cutoff man again tonight, ... But that's because he threw it so fast, the cutoff guy couldn't get there in time. He made a great play. He made a super play.
cannot coverage everybody major mark question
It's an either/or. I don't think it's a major (question). That's not a major question. It's a major question mark for everybody else, but there's coverage there (if Bagwell cannot play). One way or the other, it will work.
amazing ball hit
It's amazing we were in the ball game. We didn't hit the ball good.
defensive glass great half happened needed plays run
It's happened because we had great pitching, great defensive plays and we managed to come up with a run when we needed it sometimes. The glass is half full, not half empty.
matter
It's bad. No matter who you are playing, it's not very good.
ready
It is still day-to-day, but I thought he was going to be ready Friday, so I better not predict.
next time whatever
I told him to take whatever time he needed, to come back when he's ready, ... That may be tomorrow, that may be the next day or the next day after that.
bad chance meets
I told him it would be better if he just meets us in Houston. There's a chance he wouldn't even make it in. We shouldn't be in too bad of shape.
