ball biggest difference good strike team
That's the biggest difference in their team this year. They don't look like they're going to strike out as much as in the past. When you put the ball in play, good things are going to happen.
baseball box coming creates diversion good hard running
That's a good baseball play right there. Biggio was running hard out of the box going to second, so it creates a little diversion there, and Willy was coming hard the whole way.
ball looking strike
They put the ball in play. You have to give them credit. They didn't strike out. That's what I was looking for.
bats certainly driving gone good guys offensive problem weeks zone
We're just not getting guys on base, and we're certainly not driving them in when we do. Everybody's frustrated. We've gone two weeks now without really much of an offensive threat. The real problem is that we're not getting the bats in the zone very good right now.
basically couple ready
We're basically ready to go. We just have to make a couple decisions.
heads hook
We let them off the hook and let them keep their heads in the game,
department offense pitching stronger weaker work
We are probably a little stronger in the pitching department and probably a little weaker in the offense department. I don't know how that's going to work out.
andy balance balls bit break bullpen certainly club department found game good healthy helped last offense open pitching potent quite rotation solid somehow stronger top weaker year younger
We are a different club and we are probably not as offensively as potent as we were last year. We certainly don't have the possibility to break a game open with the long balls like we did last year. We're a little bit younger in our offense, but somehow we found a way. Our pitching is more solid than it was last year from top to bottom. Our bullpen has been good on the balance of the year and having Andy Pettitte healthy has helped our rotation quite a bit. We are probably a little stronger in the pitching department and probably a little weaker in the offense department.
bounce bunch game helps quickly stretch time whenever
We're in a stretch of a bunch of day games. We don't bounce back as quickly as we used to. At this time of the year, whenever he can have a game off, it helps him a little bit.
gets moved taylor until
Until Taylor gets his stripes, he'll have to be moved around.
When he got in the big jam, he got out of it.
biggest game next tomorrow work
We've still got work to do. Tomorrow is our biggest game of the year. Then, the next day will probably be even bigger.
assumption batting doctors field program starts taking
We'll see what program the doctors want us to have him on. I'm under the assumption he'll be on the field taking grounders and taking batting practice. When he starts throwing, I don't know that yet. I think everything else is A-OK.
ball base good job less putting runner third
When we got a runner at third base and less than two outs, we didn't do a very good job of putting the ball in play.
