keeps stage taking
What can we do? Loeb just keeps taking every stage from us and no-one can keep up.
best both car feeling gone good hope limit maybe mexico pushing run single sorted speed stay time together work works
We've just been very unlucky. We're pushing the car to the limit most of the time and things like that can happen. We have to stay together and work on the details. I can push to the limit and maybe I can go off, it works both ways. I hope we have sorted most things. I got a good feeling on the first run at Shakedown and we need do the same as always: go and do the best we can. We will see; it's not just Mexico where I've gone well, other rallies also. I think we can go the same speed on every single rally.
car feels finding good however
We could be doing better, however the car feels good and yet we are not finding enough speed.
course gap perfect remains threat winning
Everything is perfect and we're winning stages. Marcus remains a threat and of course I'd like to take Sebastien but I think there's too much of a gap now.
definitely difficult fight problems ready small
We've had so many small problems and it's been a difficult day... but I'm definitely ready to fight back.
good
That was very good and things went well,
again couple enjoy felt fighting good lead main next objective ourselves position pushed road today
Today it felt good to be fighting for the lead again - that's what we're here for, ... We pushed where we could, but the main objective was to get through cleanly and get a better road position for tomorrow's Leg. We've done that now and I think we'll be able to enjoy ourselves over the next couple of days!
raining wet
When it's been wet and raining and muddy, it has been our rally.
chose dry gap leaders quicker road
It was very slippery. We thought the road would dry out quicker than it did...I think we chose a tyre that was too hard. I'm disappointed by my gap to the leaders but that's how it is.
If the positioning is not there, its very difficult.
advantage morning specials start
I had an advantage this morning (Friday) in my start position, but the specials 5 and 6 were very hard.
bad cut cylinders dropped engine running second third three time
Not perfect, but not bad times. On the second and third stages, the engine was running very warm, so it dropped to three cylinders and cut off the anti-lag from time to time.
afford carry relax
That said, I can't afford to relax as Sebastien (Loeb) is doing very well... I'm just going to carry on going as we are and keep the speed.
brakes car feels fine good happy hard however improved lost maybe next quite seconds seemed seven stage towards
I'm quite happy actually. The car feels good and we have improved many things. We lost maybe seven seconds towards the end of the first stage as it was hard on the brakes and they seemed to go off. However they seemed fine by the next stage.
