The crest is a very bizarre-looking structure. I actually had a chance to see the fossil last summer in China while they were working on it. It's remarkably well preserved. And it has this strangely open triangular structure that flares a little bit at the back. Very delicate.

These claws are pretty big for an animal this size.

It's certainly an intriguing idea. The problem, though, is that when you have only one incidence you really don't know what's going on.
