full game intensity struggle
It's been a long struggle to try to get them to play with that intensity all the time. We didn't do it for a full game tonight, but we did it when we had to.

We went back to the gym and really worked on defense, and got after it. And we played some of the best defense we played all year, maybe in a lot of years.

Most of our games are won on defense and rebounding. We had much better energy, much more effort (in the second half).

We'd already dug ourselves a hole, but we made a nice run. We shoot it well at times, but we're not very consistent.

They guarded us better in the second half, and we didn't take it to them offensively.

That's just not being strong with the ball. They just guarded him and made him alter his shots, and he didn't take it right at them.
district effort night played tuesday win
I was disappointed in our effort in the first half, especially after we played so well Tuesday night (in a district win at Pulaski County).

I really got a god effort from all my kids on the defensive end. We needed that in the worst way. You don't get a chance to beat Pulaski at Pulaski very often.
