absolutely enjoyed game gracious great honest mind missing national olympics shake shows somebody stick watched
To be honest with you, a lot of the shows before the game you wouldn't mind missing but this one we absolutely enjoyed being a part of. I don't know how you couldn't be (inspired). She was gracious to stick around and shake each one of our sweaty palms. She's somebody you just watched at the Olympics become a national treasure. It was great we got to be part of this.
centre games hard ice package three
It's hard to do down here, where you often play three games in three nights. And they don't have the Centre Ice package in Binghamton.
behind bit drew game guys helped hooking penalties played smart
I thought when we played when we could, we played a real smart game. We've got some guys who were a little bit behind and drew hooking penalties and I don't think the way the game was called helped us.
ahead finished four games grand happens maybe move points seven straight win
Grand Rapids will say all the right things, but I think they'll look at the standings and see they finished 25 points ahead of us and think in the back of their minds, 'Hey, let's win four straight and move on. We want to go in and maybe take it to seven games and see what happens then.
(Racine) was good, and that's real important for us.
amount asset believe both bring dallas experience hockey joe league success tremendous
Both Joe and Dallas bring a tremendous amount of experience at the American Hockey League level. We believe their experience will be a tremendous asset to the success of our players.
best dire felt situations
I've always felt that we were at our best in the most dire situations this year.
minutes played puck
We played the first 60 minutes the way we wanted to. We just couldn't put the puck in the net.
league leave paid pleased
(I) wasn't pleased with the officiating. (I'm) getting paid an American League salary, so we'll . . . leave it at that.
marc respect stand teammates
Marc will always stand up for his teammates like that. That's why they respect him so much.
advantage previous
I think (playing the previous night) was an advantage to them.
added consider gm jim player trade
Jim Rutherford was the GM at the time. I was an asset. They could have added a player to make them better. Instead, they said we can trade you if you want but would you consider coaching?
care eight injuries league six
I don't care what league you're in when you play six (games) in eight (nights) you're going to be back on your heels. With the injuries we have, you're going to be in tough.
ended fault
I can't find any fault in our game, I'm just disappointed in the way it ended up.
