anyone believe game lads nice people prove saying sure
I said to the lads before the game that people are saying nice things about us. We are not used to that so we have got to make sure we don't believe them. But we don't have to prove anyone wrong.
gone
It could have been worse, it could have gone to extra-time,
bit fed gave gives might move nobody perverse players prove siege sort
I was a bit fed up because they wouldn't move the game. In a perverse sort of way that might have been what gave us impetus. I said to the players that nobody gives us anything, and we had to go out and prove ourselves. It gave us a siege mentality.
deserve goal
He said when they scored the goal 'we don't deserve that.
desire determination great lose worth
Overall, I thought we were more than worth a point, we showed great determination and desire not to lose the game.
addition air anywhere defense excellent paul signing strong valuable
Paul will be an excellent signing for us. He is very quick, strong in the air and can play anywhere in defense or in the midfield. He will be a very valuable addition to the squad.
add again bring chance competition eye good himself looking neil present prove squad strong
He will bring us a new dimension, and add competition to the squad which we need at the present time. Neil is a good young striker who is looking for a chance to prove himself again at this level. He is strong and skilful with an eye for goal.
ask players
I always ask for 100% effort, and that's what I got out of my players on Monday.
best both character club enjoyed good great terms wish
He is a great character and I've enjoyed working with him. We've parted on good terms and both the club and I wish him all the very best for the future.
add contact great news passed quality signed top
Henri has signed his contact and passed his medical. This is great news for us to get another top quality striker to add to the quality forwards we already have here.
across anywhere eye good highest pedigree played versatile
He's experienced, played at the highest level, is versatile and can play anywhere across the park. He's also got a good pedigree and an eye for goal.
beat chelsea guess last week win
Chelsea did not beat us comfortably last week and they are going to win the league, so I guess it is about which way you want to look at it.
anyone bit common crisis despite fact football knowledge knows modicum needs prove seventh supposed third
I don't think he needs to prove anything to anybody. Anyone who has a modicum of common sense, or a modicum of football knowledge knows that. They're still third in the table, yet they are supposed to be in a crisis - a bit like ourselves, despite the fact we're seventh with 25 points.
player discipline shapes
You have to be disciplined because if you lose your discipline and lose your shape, we're playing against better players, so they'll take advantage.
