The problem has been trying to figure out who the best five guys are on a given night. As a coach, you can do only so much.

We just want to finish the season strong. St. Charles is having one of their best years in a while. They've got some good guards and they've got a good big guy in (6-4 junior Bryan) Wickliffe.

There are a lot of dynamics going on in my life that kept me from focusing on baseball. But I certainly want to make it clear that I'm thankful to be the coach at ASU.

Whenever you're playing against a team like Johnstown or even River Valley in the tournament, you've got to play your best game. We proved that last year when we went up against Highland in the first round and barely beat them (39-37). This time of year, there's no margin for error.

They've got a phenomenal offense and a great defense to go with it, ... so they've got everything they need to be state champs.

They (Monona Grove) were one or two steps ahead of us in the first half. Give them credit, they came our ready to play and were the better team.
