easy given lay strength team
We have never given up. It would have been easy to lay down after being down that much. That's been the strength of this team for a long time, that we never give in.
great position win
It's great to win the series, but when you look back, we were in a position to win all three.
move
You have to be able to move on,
chance exciting game late stay strong
That's what's exciting about it, it is late in the year. This is what you get up for, a chance to play when every game counts. ... The strong survive, so we've just got to stay strong and keep going.
anybody asked numbers playing reason time valuable
Ryan's been amazing. He's done more than anybody would have asked and is a big reason why we're here. Chase, in my mind, has been one of our most valuable guys. You have to remember, he wasn't playing all the time early, and the numbers he has are incredible.
base bit game guys knew knows situation ton tough
It's frustrating because I was in a situation a lot during the game (Saturday) with guys on base a ton of times. I made two errors. That's frustrating. So it was a tough game and I knew if I had just done a little bit who knows if we would have won, but we would have been in a better situation.
anybody asked compare reason unfair
It's unfair to compare what Howard's done to what Thome would have done, but he's been done more than anybody would have asked and he's a big reason why we're here.
base continue gets guys hopefully knows scores seems three walks
I told you guys the other day that he is the catalyst. It seems like if he gets on base three times a night, he scores three times. He knows how important he is to our team. He's been great. So hopefully he will continue to get on base and take his walks and be J-Roll.
heck
It was strange. Willis pitched a heck of a game. The way things were going, it didn't look good.
confidence knowing
We've been able to get it done, and that's important. That's important to the confidence of this team, knowing we can always come back.
believe kept rally
I just couldn't believe it. It was 5-2, then 6-2, then 8-2. The rally just kept going.
base gets knows scores seems three
He's the catalyst, ... Seems like if he gets on base three times a night, he scores three times. He knows how important he is to our team, and he's been great.
last losses tough week win
There have been some tough losses for us in the last week and a half. We've got to find a way to win those games.
jimmy
Without Jimmy doing what he does, we're not where we are now. He's what makes us go. To not see that is pretty bad.
