When I first ran for school board, I thought it might not be as interesting. It turned out to be the most rewarding of all.

Lucinda was my only child, and she was God-given, and I know somewhere, somewhere I will come to terms that it was her time. But it was how it happened, and why it happened, that I have a hard time with. I miss her so much.
experience greatest honors
It's been the experience of a lifetime, one of the greatest honors I've ever had.
run time
It's a very bittersweet thing for me. If it wasn't for my work, I would probably have run for another term. But, it's time to let someone else have the experience.

I want to be here. I want to be here each and every time. My daughter is a victim -- and I want justice.

I like to think even though it took some time away from my children, it taught them, also. They gained value about how I made choices to spend my time.
