hit hopefully means seeing time
Every time I get a hit right now it means a lot. I'm getting better and seeing more pitches, being more patient. Hopefully I can find my groove.
bat hit hopefully means pitches seeing swinging time
Every time I get a hit right now it means a lot because I'm not swinging the bat real well. I'm getting better, seeing more pitches and hopefully I can get in a groove.
energy losing matter time tough
It's tough, because we're losing some tough games. It's not because of the weather. Any time you win, you're going to have energy, no matter what. When you lose, your energy drains out.
acting happened hit stupid thinks time wants whatever
I think it's kind of stupid he still thinks about that. It's something that happened a long time ago. He's still acting like a kid. Whatever he wants to do next, that's OK, I guess. What is said is said, what happened happened. He hit me, no big deal. It's part of baseball.
art connected dedicate life related somehow year
I've always said I'd like to dedicate my life to art for a whole year to see what comes out of it, painting, sculpting, everything related to art, then go from there. I feel like I have something with art. I'm connected with art somehow and I would like to do something with that.
drive everybody freedom player pride runners scoring win
Everybody will know the kind of player he is, and everybody will know, especially with runners in scoring position, not to give him the freedom to drive in runs. As much pride as you have, you still want to win the game.
barry bonds comment good people players says sure talk
Everything Barry Bonds says is multiplied. People talk about everything and every comment he makes. I'm pretty sure other players have said (they're retiring) too, and people don't even care. 'Oh, you are? Good luck.' But this is Barry Bonds.
mean
That would mean a lot to me because I'm in a different league.
rid
I think if I could have come up cleanly it would have been the same result, because it didn't take me too much to get rid of the ball.
chance forward knee looking maybe might mind playing stayed team test tried worth
Maybe if the team had been in a different situation, he might have tried to come back. I was really looking forward to playing with him. With all the injuries, it stayed in the back of my mind I was going to have a chance to play with him this year. ... I don't know if it's worth it to him to try to test the knee at this point.
past
I don't know why that is such an important thing. The past is the past.
extra hits throws wear
I am going to wear some extra padding because I'm not going to take any chances. If he hits me, I'll be ready. He still throws hard.
barry home obviously run target
Obviously Barry is being the target of it because of the home run chase.
boo care guy hit home people tyson watch
People want to see everything, ... They want to see him. They want to boo him. They want to watch him hit a home run. He's kind of like a Tyson fight. They don't care about the guy much, but they always want to see him fight. But it's not that people don't care about Bonds.
