We should be looking at situations long-term. We should plan for five years from now, 10 years from now, instead of all of a sudden worrying about how to fix something.

I feel right now, here in Palatka, the average person really has no say-so. The commission, mayor and city manager basically run everything. They always say you can come forward with your ideas, but nobody really listens. I've become very frustrated.
