Here's a guy that's had a character quality career. He's been a leader in the community as well as on his team. Obviously, we've all done something on some occasion in our life that we regret and wish we wouldn't have done.
It's not really true to (the Bears) character and nature in the past to do that (during an exhibition game), ... But I thought our staff did an outstanding job with adapting in the game. That's probably why we had more success in the second and third quarters than we did in the beginning of the game.
The best way to disrespect somebody is to just walk away from them. But that is the show business part of what we have to deal with, and to me it's wrong. It's a bad example for young people to see and it's not the kind of character and attitude that we want our players to represent this organization in, our owner, the Miami Dolphins ... or the people on the team who all have to suffer because of that.
