Like I told the kids, a tourney win is always a good thing. I wanted them to believe they could win that game. They just had to put it away.

Cardington gets a lot of things done. I told the girls they are going to live on our mistakes if you let them.

I can't fault our effort. Cardington is a good solid team.

We did not compete as well as we should have, and a lot of that was a mental thing which they (the Lady Irish) were too willing to accept.

They have great quickness. It's not that they are all sprinters. They all anticipate things so well and that's the really impressive thing.
