It was a typical loser-out game, with two teams settling in and trying to get a feel for the game. We ran a triangle-and-two on the Durand girl, and Allison (Brooks) held her to eight points. Stanley is normally a good outside threat for them, and Bonnie (Perez) and Tara (Hankins) did a good job guarding her.

Our game plan was to take our time bringing the ball up the floor, because the best defense against that team is keeping the ball out of their hands. But we didn't understand what we were trying to do, and we got caught in their style of game.
