Iverson was telling me to listen to him because he's going to make you better. I just try to picture Allen saying it instead of Coach because then I can relate to it because I know he's been in my same shoes.
It was a little crazy for the first couple of days, ... I couldn't really talk. I checked in, and in 20 minutes, I was at the dentist. I had to tell the guys, 'My tooth is messed up -- I'll talk to you in a few days.' I got it pulled, and now it's back to normal.
The sky is the limit for Dina. She has tremendous potential and ability and soaks everything in we tell her. You can see she loves track.
The whole time from when I was selected for it, I've been watching film of Spud Webb.
Even though it was a negative thing that happened, I wasn't feeling too bad, 'cause a positive thing came out of it, ... I don't fault Miami for anything; I'm just here at Rutgers, at home, where I'm happy.
Every time Coach talks to me he says listen to the message, not how it's said. It's kinda hard to really listen to exactly what he says instead of taking it personally, trying to do everything right for him and it's not good enough. At the same time you can't look at it that way. You've got to look at it like he's trying to help you.
I wanted it. I'm still waiting for that first dunk at the Garden.
Today was a great day. I want to win, so I'm going to do whatever it takes to get everyone involved and having fun and getting the crowd involved and just playing hard to help out the team.
I am going to go at him (Iverson). I am going to make him play defense. That is what I tried to do tonight.
I apologized to him like 100 times already. I definitely took full responsibility of what I did. Hopefully it's minor because I would hate for me to be the one to hurt his career or anything like that.
I have charisma and a lot of energy and I hope that the crowd can see that. All I can do is hope so (that the crowd will get behind me). If not, then I will have to steal the crowd away from someone else. If that happens, that is what I am going to have to do.
I'd like to say thanks to Spud for helping me out because I think that put me over the hump.
We had to get in touch with him, so we did and he was like, 'Yeah, sure.
We waited our turn and showed Coach and the world what we can do. We can go out and play hard and have fun.
