The whole process is taking us backward in attitude. We're looking at special education costs versus operating costs. I wish the state would consider doing something about special education funding in small towns such as ours. It would make a world of difference.

We appreciate the idea but don't feel we can reduce office staff here. There is a lot more to what we do such as educational grants.
