difference everybody finally game hard lindsay run second time
Lindsay was the difference in the game. We finally got a little run going in the second half. We make it interesting every night. We just have a hard time scoring. Everybody is in the game with us. We struggle.
double figures half knew playing second time
We knew it would take time for her to get back, but she was completely back by February. She is playing well and averaging in double figures in the second half of the season. She is a big part of this team.
bad ball decisions killer second teams turned
I was disappointed in the way we finished. We turned the ball over way too much (19 times). We lacked the killer instinct. When you are up by 17, you should be able to put teams away. We made a lot of bad decisions in the second half.
guard guess prove tried
We tried to guard her. I guess she wanted to prove she should have been on the All-Rookie team.
boards crystal finding good job
Crystal did a good job on the boards and we did a good job of finding her.
beat confident everybody people ranked
We had a lot of people contribute, a lot of people play well. Everybody has to feel pretty confident that we can beat a ranked team.
ball bring moment skilled
You just don't see that often. You just couldn't take one away because the other one would bring the ball up. They're just skilled and smart. A lot of intangibles. I don't think they will be overwhelmed by the moment but it is a big moment.
changed guard
We couldn't guard her in the zone, then we put her in the box-and-one and I think it changed the momentum.
four great lucky minutes points record
We were lucky to win. LeSueur had a great game. Four points in 10 minutes has to be a record for us.
best forgot supposed
We forgot who we were supposed to foul, and we fouled their best free-throw shooter.
confidence happy lost saying work
We can't go around saying we're happy because we only lost by 11. We have a lot of things to work on, but this should give us some confidence going into the Big East.
doubling great guard hard straight tried using
She's such a great scorer. We tried using a box-and-one or doubling her on the wing. I don't think you can guard her straight up. She has so many moves, she's really hard to guard.
anyone blames finds help job keeps takes
She takes it all in stride. That's her job and she's very accountable. If we don't win, she finds a reason, what she could have done better to help us win. She never blames anyone else. She always keeps them upbeat.
leading whose year
This year she's had to do it all. She's had to be the leading scorer. She's had to be the leader. She's had to be the one whose out there all the time.
