quiet
He's a quiet guy. But you can't be something that you're not.
bat coming curious
When is he coming back? I know his bat will be there. I'm curious about how he's running. A motivation? I don't know. We've got something going already.
couple expected finally good hopefully last looks pays weeks
Finally it looks like we'll have the lineup that we expected to have, without J.T., unfortunately ... Hopefully it pays off the last couple weeks of the season. We've got something pretty good going.
guy guys happy wish
We can't look back and wish we had this guy or wish we had this other guy. We're very happy with the guys we have because the guys we have really want to be here.
awesome committed compete glad people
The people in the Dominican are going wild. It's pretty nice. I'm glad I committed myself to compete for my country. I didn't think it would be such an awesome event.
fun good scoreboard
We won't have to look at the scoreboard anymore, and we will have a good series, have some fun and play good baseball.
act baseball brute coaches english heard people quiet speak stay
People act like you're some brute if you don't speak English when you come to this country, ... I've heard people in the media, coaches and other people in baseball say these things. It's just people stay quiet about it, but we all hear it.
early home night ready saturday sleep
I went home on Saturday night and got to sleep early so I'd be ready to play.
experience wait
I think it's going to be pretty huge. When we do it all the way -- which we will -- I can't wait to experience the feeling.
ballpark deal easy fans holding perform stuff tough
He's holding up pretty good. That's a tough guy. It's not easy to come to the ballpark and perform and deal with all the stuff going on outside. The fans have been terrible.
coming moments throughout today
Today it was a combination of everything coming together. Moments like that, I've had a lot throughout my career.
ball lucky seeing
I wasn't seeing the ball as well as I wanted to today. I got lucky on that one.
camp decision late
Manny showed up late to camp and said he wasn't going to be ready. It was a very responsible decision on his part to not be a part of this because he's not going to be in shape.
best chance coming crew main reason rest
That's the only reason why I am here and the only reason the rest of the crew is here. It's an honor, especially coming from the Dominican Republic, where our main sport is baseball. We want to be the best in the world, and this is our chance to do it.
