baseball volleyball beach
Once the day is over in volleyball, I leave the court and no one sees or hears from me for the rest of the day. I like to keep work at work. It's pretty easy for me to live a pretty normal life. I like to coach and I like to sit in a crowd at a baseball game. No one really recognizes me unless I'm walking around a beach half-naked in a suit with my name on it. Of course, I have it easier than Kerri. When you're 6-3 you tend to stick out a little bit.
volleyball exercise important
If you want to be in the best shape, diet is super important. You can exercise all you want, but if you're not eating the right foods, it's not going to equal out. You're not going to get the results you want.
volleyball feel-good littles
I know when things are going to get me a little nervous, because nervous to me feels good.
volleyball trying important
Rest, rest, rest, rest, rest. Nutrition is obviously very important, but rest is equally important. At rest is when your body is trying to recover.
volleyball gold
All my life, I've dreamed in gold.
sports volleyball team
We're a team, and just by the nature of our sport, we're always promoted together. I think we are definitely two different people with two different personalities, but we're always linked.
volleyball player offensive
I wouldn't be the best offensive player if I didn't have a great setter. She serves me up nectar.
volleyball thinking stronger
I'm stronger than I think I am. Mentally, physically.
volleyball people doubt
A lot of people had doubts. I tried to tell people I never had doubts.
volleyball nice skills
I don't want to be put on a pedestal. I want to be known as a nice and normal person, but my skills are a little more excelled.
sports volleyball missing
It's important to just kind of get away from your sport until you miss it. It's about taking time to enjoy other aspects of life or learn new things. It helps rejuvenate.
sports volleyball beach
It takes a lot of hard work and dedication just like any pro sport. Especially for beach volleyball you don't have to be tall or as fast as other sports. You just have to have the skills.
call groups leave legs muscle muscles work
It's just as important to work on the little muscle groups as well as the big muscle groups. People, when they train, go to gyms. I call them 'nightclub bodies' - ginormous up top, and legs are little sticks. You see a lot of people, and they forget you can't leave the little muscles behind.
core couple days hours lift listen shut spend twice weight yoga
I used to spend a couple of hours in the weight room, but really, an hour is long enough. I lift twice a week and on other days incorporate more core yoga and different exercises. It's important to listen to your body. I will shut it down if I'm tired.
