I read the book and e-mailed the organization, we got to talking and I asked if we could do a fundraiser for them. I then went to the school and started lobbying if we could have the football game with the fire fighters. They said they'd love to do it and here we are a year later, playing the game.

Before this, we had members of our road patrol going to the schools for three hours each day to deal with problem kids. This is a much better solution,

It's relatively good news, but it's only an editorial. Extra work needs to be done before that is confirmed.

As a coach we appreciate that from our own players as well as from opposing players.
came hard learning played proud team
I am very proud of the team. We could have folded at halftime, but they came out and played hard and battled. We are a young team and we have been learning all year. This was another one of those lessons. We did not give up and I am very proud of that.
