There have been times this year, through health or just not performing well, I haven't helped this team win ballgames,
He's definitely going to help our team -- when, I don't know,
We just came out gunning. My teammates gave me some great opportunities and I just my shots.
I like it here. I like this team a lot.
And I take a lot of the blame for our record this year. And to come out and help this team win tonight is really a great feeling.
To be named one of the finalists for the Marvin Miller Award is an honor for me,
We are embarrassed. We're hurting in here, and we should be.
We've really been grinding it out, and now we are starting to click. It takes the pressure off the pitchers.
We wanted to pull this one out for Skipper, with the pain he's going through.
I got to play in his home country, in the stadium that was named after him and I know he was one of the best, if not the best, Latin American ballplayers of all time,
If we can get this guy's brain to work with his body, he'll be special for a long time.
Lord willing, I'll be ready by opening day. It is the weight-bearing bone in the bottom part of your leg.
Last year was a building year, and a painful one at that. But we got to see how our young guys could perform over a long, 162-game season. The ones who fared well still fit into our future plans.
We need to make changes this winter as players and as an organization and turn things around because this is unacceptable. When you play bad baseball, no matter what your record is, it's not real satisfying.
