If anyone is going to ask me about the officiating, I have no comment. We spent eight of the last 20 minutes trying to kill penalties. It's tough trying to maintain control of the hockey game when you have to kill penalties like that.

It's tough to win when you don't score. I don't think this was a lack of chances. According to our statistics, we had 18 scoring chances. That's a pretty decent amount. The guys we count on to score had chances. We just didn't finish.

We've got opportunities to advance the puck and move the puck, simple options, short options, and we're looking for the better play and it's cost us. He's been a difficult guy to replace. He's one of those guys you take for granted when you have him in the lineup. It's been tough not having him because he plays in so many different situations. He's a complete player. We hope to get him on the ice this weekend.

We have a handful of guys right there who are knocking on the door. How that plays out remains to be seen, but that will be something we will try to manage on a day-to-day or a week-to-week basis. We will certainly have some difficult decisions to make.
