Our defense got a little loose and we tightened things up the last couple days at practice. It was a nice defensive effort. It was a team effort. Nice balance on offense and good defense.
enjoy second time worked
Everything he does he deserves. He went out and got the recognition and he worked to get noticed. I told him to enjoy every second of being recruited, because it will be the only time you get wined and dined.
anybody half officials running sidelines
I won't be running up and down the sidelines too much but I will be enthusiastic as all get-out. Officials will know I'm there. I'm as spry as anybody can be half my age. I've been reborn.
great guards guys key kid knows moore pick point poison stand
You kind of pick your poison with those guys. Their guards make the big guys stand out. That kid Moore is a great point guard. He knows when to shoot, and he knows when to get it to the big men. He's the key to the whole thing.
games kids lost portion states three win
We have to win games in this portion of the tournament. You don't want to go into the states having lost three in a row. I told the kids that Saturday's pretty important for us.
balanced felt game reason wants win
(Lewis) wants to win so bad. He felt like he had to take over the game himself. But the reason we were here is that we've been much more balanced offensively lately.
calls gets team wonder
There are just some times when a team gets all the calls and you don't get any where you wonder about it.

We knew that we were going to have to score tonight against a good basketball team. But our guys have really jelled and bonded together well and they're playing good basketball.

We kept telling Aubrey that he was going to have to find a spot in the box-and-one, and he did a great job for us.
five tyrone wish
Tyrone was great. He's awesome. I wish we had five of him. Even two of him.

We can't shoot, we missed shots. We just struggle from the field.

First and foremost, this kid is tough. He has blocked kicks. He has covered kicks. He has made tackles. He returns balls. He is reckless. He is a north-south runner and he finishes that way all the time. He breaks tackles. He fields the ball well and takes chances.
