anybody exhibition game sure treats
I am not sure how anybody treats a regular-season game like an exhibition game.
hopefully
He's more comfortable with the system, more comfortable with what we're doing. It's a process. Hopefully he can keep it up.
years nfl judging
I said all along, you judge your quarterback in his third year.
player nfl guy
That's why you bring in a veteran player. You never know when a player goes down, a guy's got to step up and play.
adversity games play
What I meant by that is, any time you have adversity, now you've got a chance to see all of these guys play every game the rest of the way like it's a playoff game. What you want guys to do when there's adversity is to play harder and play better, and that's when you see what kind of guys you have in your locker room.
trying honest i-can
What I'm trying to do is be as honest as I can, and I don't normally do that.
team winning organization
There can be no separation in your organization. You win as a team, you lose as a team.
self goal limits
Limits are self-imposed. But there are no limits to human energy nor the goals you can achieve.
self knowing discipline
People talk about discipline, but to me, there's discipline and there's self-discipline. Discipline is listening to people tell you what to do, where to be, and how to do something. Self-discipline is knowing that you are responsible for everything that happens in your life; you are the only one who can take yourself to the desired heights.
decide game plays sure
I'm not really sure yet. We'll get a better feel before the game and decide how many plays he can play.
bit directions few options sure time
I'm not really sure. It could be quick. It could be a little bit later. I have a few different directions to go. I'm not really sure right now. I'm going to let a little time go by and find out what my options are.
coach defense head offense pressure
In my years as a head coach and as a coordinator, I don't know if I've ever been with an offense that put as much pressure on a defense as we did in that game. We didn't get anything going.
advantage fourth giants last theirs third took
The Giants did what they had to do to win. We had our opportunities in the third and fourth quarters, couldn't take advantage of them, and they took advantage of theirs on that last drive.
advantage hangover last opportunity time
The hangover will last a long time. Any time you play in a championship game, you know what an opportunity it is and if you don't take advantage of it, it hurts.
