kids ranked remember seeing state upsets
This is the most upsets I can remember seeing in the first day of the state tournament. There's a lot of ranked kids that are out.
boys difference knew second state themselves third wins
I think the boys knew how big some of those wins were going to be in district. The difference between second and third (in the district) could be the difference between going to state or going home. I think some of the boys set themselves up very well this weekend.
keeps kid wrestling
Bryce just keeps wrestling well. For a kid that realistically should have never been on the mat this season, it's incredible.
glad might mitchell next possibly quality time work
Mitchell is a quality kid. I'm glad that we got to see him this early, because now we know what we have to work on. The next time Logan might possibly see him is at state.

It's hard to look and see one place where we had a good day today. But I was very pleased with the way we wrestled. I don't know how many ranked kids were at the tournament today, but we held our own against some very tough competition.

We wrestled very well. We weren't outstanding. We just wrestled like we're supposed to wrestle.

We're just looking for a good effort. Realistically, every kid has a shot. If they wrestle as well as they can, they're going to make it through.

They're working hard. I think both Darren Cleveland and Darren Dell have a good future in wrestling.

The more bodies in a wrestling room, the better a team is. It raises the level of competition.

I thought they wrestled well. I can't say that I'm disappointed with one kid today. They all put it out there.

I'm happy with where the kids are at. They're wrestling well and I think they'll do well.
