brad cup fill looking plays reliable rings stanley tons
In so many ways, Brad was what we were looking for to fill out our defense. He's reliable and plays with a lot of passion. He's got tons of character. He also has two Stanley Cup rings and really wanted to be an Islander. There's nothing not to like.
charles help
Charles will make that decision, I will help him with that.

The good news is that Kevin is going to lead a healthy and productive life. In the very near future, we will have a thorough discussion with Kevin about his life after hockey.
both emerged excellent good great happy player talent thrilled tremendous
Roberto has become the goaltender everyone thought he would be, ... I'm happy for him. He's a great kid, a world-class talent and a tremendous competitor. It's good to see Olli has emerged as an excellent player in Florida, too. As long as it's not at our expense, I'm thrilled to see both doing so well.
ability adds anyone closely consider developing dimension eyes gifted jump junior offensive opened people physical progress robert though
Robert adds another offensive dimension for us. I like our forwards a lot, but I would consider Robert -- even though he's just 20 years ago and still developing -- as gifted a playmaker as anyone on our team. He opened the eyes of a lot of people at the World Junior Championships. We have monitored his progress closely and feel Robert has the physical ability to make the jump right into the NHL.

buzz cap chance city everybody gone names
I think it's tremendous. Everybody has got a chance under the cap to play this free-agent game. Big names have moved. Every city that has gone through this has to have a big buzz with it.
best fit game highly minutes perfect respected
Alexei is a perfect fit for us. He's one of the best two-way defensemen in the game and he's a highly respected player. He's going to play big minutes for us in all situations.

roots perfect hard
It’s hard not to root for Henrik Lundqvist, he’s practically perfect.
hockey being-me mediocre
I don't like being mediocre. I won't be.
player puck gretzky
By far Gretzky is the most talented player ever. Every time he gets the puck something exciting happens.
hockey nhl green
He's a gutless puke, that's what Travis Green is. That's why he doesn't wear an Islander uniform any more.
hockey devil care
Screw the Rangers, and screw the Devils; I work for the Islanders now, and I could care less about them!
