When you make two errors in the game, it puts you in a position to lose. But when you make eight errors in a game, it makes it almost impossible win.

Emily pitched well for us today. It's always tough to throw back-to-back games. It was even harder with it the 95-degree weather. We just have to make the plays in the field.

We really needed at least a split against Mountain Home to stay in the race. It's going to be tough to make the state playoffs now.

We couldn't get the key hits today. We didn't get bunt well, either. We didn't get a single bunt down all day.

Leigh played well today and made good contact. She really came to the park ready to play.

We tell the runners to freeze on a line drive. The pitcher made some good plays, though, so it's just tough for the runner at first.
We started hitting, but it was just too little, too late.

Their pitcher locates really well. She can put the ball right where she wants it and kept us off balance all night.

It was just another error-plagued game. We just made little mistakes like we have been doing all year.

In the late innings, we were swinging at pitches that were way out of the strike zone.

The girls are down. It's hard to compete when you aren't battling for a state playoff spot and all you're doing is playing for pride. The girls still play hard every game though. I have to give them credit for that.
