The ankle is not doing any better. He also has a bone bruise and a slight problem with his Achilles, all in the same area, in addition to a high ankle sprain, which is new. Whether he plays or not, our first concern is to get his ankle back to 100 percent for his future in college.

He?s a big difference, we?re a much better team with him. He?s a tremendous athlete with a huge heart. However big the game is, he seems to rise to the occasion. He gets loose balls, he gets steals you don?t think he?s gonna get that he comes up with. When he plays the way he did tonight, we?re a very good team.

No question the dunk was the big play of the game. To go from two up to eight up at the end of the third was a big boost.

After what we did the other night, we had (Hillhouse) right where we wanted them. From three it?s back to seven in a heartbeat, it seemed like. Then we are back chasing. They have tremendous team speed. Not for a lack of effort on our part, but they seemed to come up with that loose ball all the time.

I thought we played well defensively, especially in the second half. They got a lot of open shots in the first half, but I don't think they had very many of those in the second.

Our league is always strong and always competitive. The competition we play in our league is outstanding, and it makes teams better good competition is always good for everything.
