Mike Johnstonis the head coach and general manager of the Portland Winterhawks hockey team of the Western Hockey League. He previously coached the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL from 2014-15. It's nice to have (Perez) because he's tough up in between the tackles, ... and you have to honor (Hicks) because of his speed. And then (Craig) Smith can come in with nice quickness with the counters between the tackles. Sometimes teams will forget about him.
It was a really well-played game. They were much improved from the first time we played this year. Both teams played flawless defense.
