This team is great at distributing the basketball, and we did a great job of finding people. When the ball moves like that and everybody gets involved, it makes it really easy, and when we can hit 14 three-pointers, we'll hurt a lot of people.
We need him for the franchise. We need him to be healthy and playing well. Whether that's this year or next year, we'll see.
We've been flirting with this for a while and this time it bit us. Yeah, they shot the ball well, but everybody is against us lately. We have to be more careful. We're running out of steam and now we have to find some second energy and gut this out a little bit.
We just didn't make shots. You have to give (the Nets) credit. They did a great job. I really don't have a lot of answers.
We got a little testy out there, they got a little testy out there. It was a nice atmosphere. Our guys had a lot of spirit and a lot of fight. Maybe too much fight but it looked good.
That is what happens when you have talent. We are young and they (the players) came together more then anyone expected.
We are getting our feet a little bit. A little desperation time, but we are a young team and we are fighting.
I thought we definitely started off sloppy. It took us a while for whatever reason. We played a heck of a game and fought back. We battled shot for shot.
He's going to give us some fire. He might make some mistakes but he's going to play hard. You know that. That's his M.O.
For whatever reason, we had no energy and (Sacramento) came out and played great. If you put that combination together, this is what happens.
For whatever reason, it looks like it's almost a weight on our shoulders or whatever. We just need to get out there and run. We've got to bust through some barriers there for whatever reason.
You know what's fun about basketball? It keeps evolving, and it keeps changing a little bit. And the older guys want to try to hold it back to how they grew up, and it's not the same. You've got to change with the times, and some of the guys you've got to drag across the finish line.
Most of the time when there's a communication problem, it's because the message being received is not the message you want. It's not that they don't know what they need to do, how we need to act as a team, whatever. If you don't like the message, then you go say there's a communication problem.
If fans are discouraged, find another team to root for.
