We lost him a few times in transition. Once he got hot, he knocked down a couple shots and it helped his confidence. Both he and Caron stepped up at the right time to help their team win.

The thing that I like is that young guy set the tone for this team. He went in there and got hammered, and what did he do next time? He went back to that hole. When your leader is doing something like that, everybody else better step up on that bench and play just as hard, and just as physical.

They tell me I have a good shot at starting but that is just talk. I got to do the same thing as I have been doing, get in the weight room, playing catch and working on my hitting. They are a young team and they are looking for guys to step up. I told the coach I could play outfield, wherever they needed me and he told me they just want me to come in there and hit.
