beaten build flying game good home maybe might momentum performance points stopping struggling
The only way we can build any momentum is by stopping getting beaten and we've done that. I know it was a home game and everyone will say it was a game we should win. Maybe had we been on 16 or 17 points and flying we might have done but we're struggling like hell. That was a really good performance and a good draw.
awful contract longer offer recently term
I think he has an awful lot to offer - I wouldn't have re-signed him recently on a longer term contract otherwise,
experience gone might players problem season
We have lacked experience this season but if we had gone out and got experienced players on big salaries, we might have had a real problem if we had gone down.
becoming harder suggest
It's getting harder and harder to suggest that we're going to get out of this. It's becoming increasingly more difficult.
bit enjoyed leave manage people pleasure support
I leave with a smile. I've enjoyed every bit of it because it's been a pleasure to manage this club. I'm sure I've got those who support me and there will be people who think otherwise. I've done my best.
against cunningham deal defenders difficult found hand kenny sure
I'm sure Kenny Cunningham has been up against him in the forwards v defenders sessions in training, and found first hand how Stephen is very difficult to deal with.
heart soul took
That probably took the heart and soul out of the place.
enjoyed eventually few last minute move single tough
It's been tough here these last few months, but it's been brilliant. I've enjoyed every single minute of it. It's been a pleasure. I've been very fortunate. As always, I've done my best. I can't do any more and I'll move on and eventually do something else.
At the minute, it is very, very tough,
ball defend last manage
At the end of it, it is about having the wherewithal to keep the ball at times, but then to defend that last set-piece, and we didn't manage to do it,
course decide experience force gone good group might players problem reckoned stay stays taken team together turns unless view
There was a view taken that of course we wanted to stay up and do well but, if we didn't, then the group of players here will stay here and be a force to be reckoned with in the Championship. We have lacked experience but if we had gone out and got experienced players on big salaries we might have had a real problem if we had gone down. If it turns out that we're not good enough and we go down, this team stays together unless any decide they don't want to.
bottle happened tuesday wednesday
I started on Shrove Tuesday and then by Ash Wednesday something had happened and I'd had a bottle of beer.
aware bottom
I shouldn't be surprised, we're bottom of the league. I can't do anything about it. I'm not aware of anything going on.
good player versatile
Rory's a versatile player and that is a good thing to have.
