against confidence games kept losing needed pushing runs three top
We just kept pushing, pushing, pushing and we got the runs we needed. They needed a little confidence after losing three games against Top 25 teams.
cancel field reason starts taking unless
As of now, we're going out there. Our field is fine. There's no reason to cancel it unless it starts to snow. We're taking a wait-and-see attitude.
bit played
It was a little bit cold, but we played well. Everybody's got to play in the same elements.

She was the spark plug. She played great defense too.
excited gets phenomenal plug spark weekend
She had a phenomenal weekend and I'm really excited to have her. She is the spark plug we needed. She competes and she just gets it done.
athletics dad developed harder kids killer nicest
She has athletics in her background. Her dad is harder on her than I could ever be. She has developed that killer instinct, but she's one of the nicest kids you'll ever meet.
came huge stayed stopped though win
We stayed disciplined at the plate, we never stopped competing, even though we got embarrassed in the first game. We couldn't make a play, we couldn't do anything. We stayed together, we came back. That's a huge win for us, huge.
factor felt huge improvement marked needed pitching time
They needed more one-on-one time than I felt I could give them. With her, we'll see marked improvement in our pitching staff. That's a huge factor for us.
bone community family given hands literally mother watched work
I have watched my mother . . . work her hands literally to the bone for her family and her community. If my mother has never given to herself, it is because she has always given to others.
days extremely factor good huge kids last news outside ready since test three weekend worked
This will be a good test for us. The good news is it's everybody's first weekend out. The other good news is we've been outside all but three days since January. Last year, I think it was a huge factor that we hadn't been outside. We should be ready to go. The kids have worked extremely hard. I'm excited. What's another week going to do? Nothing. Let's go play.
prove putting stock
We're not putting much stock into it. That's what they think and your only thing is to prove them wrong.
defense effort few great hitting kids matter mistakes played pleased runs solid
When you don't score, it doesn't matter how many runs you give up. We played very solid defense. We made a few mistakes here and there, but really, for the most part, our defense did a great job. Our hitting is going to come around. I'm very pleased with the effort the kids gave. They played hard.
ball cost critical error hits playing scoring
When you're not scoring runs, one error is going to cost you the ball game. It's not like we're not playing well, we're just not getting critical hits or playing right when we need it.
class confident core critical definitely good leadership program senior success true
This my first true senior class. We definitely have more versatility. We've got a good core leadership group, which is critical to a program and the success of the team. I feel confident with where we are.
