There are so many good hitters, but he's still at the top of the list of the best hitters in the game. We're two different hitters. He's left-handed, I'm right-handed. I try to drive the ball a little more, he relies on speed a little more. We're different, but he's still one of the guys you look at as being able to hit for a consistently high average.

I had to learn to kind of let things go in one ear and out the other. It was kind of tough as a young player. I knew what I was capable of. Once '03 came around, I was tired of it. I wanted to shut some people up, and I wanted to have a big year.
