best choices choose determined few hope last options partly presenting produce rest road season shows whether
Last season, we had two new musicals, and the rest of the season was partly determined by the choices that were available, and there were very few choices of shows going out on the road for us to choose from. My hope is that, season to season, you will see the best options that we have to produce on that stage, whether we are presenting shows that are going on the road post-Broadway or some pre-Broadway shows.
american-director job rest work year
I went into this job to do plays, but that's here for 10 weeks, and the rest of the year I do a lot of other things-the administrative work of planning, reading plays.
american-director fairly good group spent supportive theater time
I've spent a lot of time in LA, so I have a fairly good sense of what that world is, and that group has been supportive of the theater in the past.
liked
I've never liked having a play read to me.
american-director logistics
I've never presented. The logistics of that is a challenge.

Los Angeles has always been on the table with us.
american-director
Sitting in this chair, my recommendation would carry too much weight.
enjoy great greatest happen quality tool
I happen to enjoy fundraising a great deal, ... I think our greatest fundraising tool is going to be the quality of the shows.
american-director early rather
I feel that I'm leaving Williamstown too early, but I'd rather leave too early than too late.
american-director
The audience includes subscribers, so you have to be careful.
american-director rehearsal seems
It's exciting to see a kid at a rehearsal meeting with someone who seems like such an icon.
anchor becomes beyond deal great hurts move musicals remains seen smart vegas watching
It was a smart move on his part. It hurts us, no question. 'Spamalot' as an anchor would have been unbelievable for us. But it really remains to be seen if Vegas becomes a destination for musicals much beyond where it is now. We're watching with a great deal of interest.
matter
It's a matter of pride. They would have a sense of control.
