extremely game minutes needed played shots took
We didn't make shots at the end of the game when we really needed it. We played extremely well for 36 minutes of the game, but at the end of the game they really took over.
bit game shot shots struggled
We struggled in Game 1, and shot a little bit better in Game 2, but not enough. We need to make shots with this team. That's what we do best.
last love nba players second shot
That's a shot that all NBA players love to have, that last second shot,
difficult great guys job knew night shot shutting three
I knew it was going to happen. They did a great job having two or three guys around me all night and it was very difficult to get my shot off. They really were just concentrating on shutting me down tonight.
disrespect easy geared knew missed normally shots toward
I missed a lot of easy shots. No disrespect to their defense. I knew it would be geared toward me, but I missed a lot of shots I would normally make.
We have to buckle down and play for our lives.
against average slap
To average 30 against Detroit, that's a slap in their face. They're not going to take that.
guys shut three whenever
Whenever I got the ball, I had two or three guys around me. They were really concentrating on me, to shut me down.
flaws hot knew offensive run
We knew that we had to get out and run tonight. But I don't know of any flaws that we had in our offensive game. Everyone got hot tonight.
environment game home hopefully tough
We're going home now and hopefully that will help. It's a different environment. This (The Palace) is a tough place to play. Hopefully we can get home and we will be able to ante-up for Game 3.
advantage smaller tried
T.J.'s smaller than him, so he tried to take advantage of that.
signs standard strive
Those signs are the real deal. They're our standard and what we strive for in every game.
game home intensity playing playoff
This was a playoff game for us. The intensity was there for us. This is (inexcusable), playing at home like this. It must change.
bigger bit chase guy rip
We're going to try to put a bigger guy on him and have T.J. chase around Rip (Richard Hamilton) a little bit more.
