against atlanta bring encouraged focused good hard hats hunt lives lost played playoff reason sacramento wednesday wins
I was encouraged by the wins against Atlanta and Denver. And even when we lost against Phoenix, I thought that we played as well as we could. (Against New York), for some reason we weren't focused like we need to. We're in the playoff hunt for our lives right now. We have to bring out hard hats Wednesday against a good Sacramento team. We've got to play (well) or we could be out of this.
against great player practiced several tonight
We practiced against each other for several years so it was great to see him tonight and get to play against him. He's a great player and great friend.
against best fell game great short tried
It was my best game ever, and in a loss. I just tried my best and played, and we fell short against a great, great team.
against came certain guys last obviously picked pieces pool talent team ya year
Obviously our talent pool has picked up from a year ago. We got more talent this year. Nothing against last year's team but ya know certain guys came to the team and now we got the pieces where we can make a run.
against continue finish four fourth games good needed points quarter quarters row win
We needed a win bad. But we can't continue to play like this. . . . This has been four games in a row now. But I'm going to be positive. It was a good win for us. We needed it bad. I don't know how many points we scored in the fourth quarter (12) but we've got to finish fourth quarters off better. We'll take it. All day long. But we've got to play better against Chicago. Much better.
against average slap
To average 30 against Detroit, that's a slap in their face. They're not going to take that.
adjust against body combat extra hard past people position rip saw surrounded
I never really got into a position to do anything. They always had an extra body around if I ever did get past Rip (Hamilton), which was hard to do in itself. They just surrounded me and I was never in a position to do anything. We've got to make adjustments to combat what they did against me because I saw (two or three) people every time. So we have to adjust that.
afford cannot couple few fourth happened last minutes slow starting
We're starting off slow (in the fourth quarter). The first couple minutes we just floundered away. It's happened to us the last few nights. We cannot afford to do that.
hit night open rhythm
We struggled. We had a lot of open looks, but it wasn't our night to hit them. We just never got in a rhythm from the three-point line. But once again, we try not to live by that.
bit game shot shots struggled
We struggled in Game 1, and shot a little bit better in Game 2, but not enough. We need to make shots with this team. That's what we do best.
game knew lose lost tonight washington
Wow, I didn't know we were up that much. I knew we were up a lot. It's frustrating to lose this game, especially a game we had to have. Washington lost tonight so we could have made up ground.
eight exercise game gotten great job knew nine phoenix pushes three won
We knew we would get our exercise in this game. Phoenix consistently pushes it and we just got outran. We could have won this game if we could have gotten down to eight or nine in the fourth, but they did a great job with (using) the three as a dagger.
couple create easy excited
We did it a couple years ago with T.J.. I'm excited about that. I think it'll create easy opportunities for us to score.
bug good hit injury persevere quite record talent
We've been hit by the injury bug quite often this year, and it's kind of slowed us down a little bit. We still have a good record (15-11). . . We just have to persevere through it. We have enough talent to still win.
