draw expect plays
You always draw up plays like that, but they never really work. I didn't really expect it to work. I also didn't really expect Brandon to take the shot. I didn't really know what to expect at all.
act coach deserved game harder kids minutes played ready till wait win
We got to come ready to play; we can't wait till two minutes to go in the game and act like we want to win and play hard. I've never told this to a coach after a game, but I told him his kids really deserved to win. Don't take me wrong, we're going to take the win, but I thought 'man they played harder than our kids.

I don't think we were 100 percent ready to go tonight.
tempo
You have to know when to use it (the press). It's become something we can go to when we need some tempo or intensity.
amazing extremely fifteen seconds turnaround
What a turnaround there in fifteen seconds or so. It was amazing ... We were extremely lucky.
expect game ok
It was an OK game for him. He didn't play that well defensively, but we've come to expect that kind of game from him offensively.
early intensity next played
We played well in spurts, but our intensity wasn't what it should be. Next week, we can't have that or we're going to have an early exit.
bit challenged court defense fourth half ourselves pride stepped third
We pride ourselves on our half court defense and there wasn't much pride for it in the third quarter. I challenged them a little bit before the fourth and they just stepped up.
came defense good overtime played
He (Gerhardt) came through there in the end and made some big buckets for us in overtime and actually played some good defense for us in the end.
everybody goes last shot
The last thing I told them was when that shot goes up everybody will rebound.
bad both giving good guess means missing sign
I guess that can be both a good sign and a bad sign. It means we're giving a lot of effort, but it also means we're missing a lot of shots.
best halves second together
You can't take anything away from them. They really outplayed us most of the second half. We just put together one of our best first halves of the year.
