Any time you have success in a situation, you gain confidence. A big thing obviously is that you have teammates to get on base to allow you to do that.

That's what we're trying to pride ourselves on. We definitely have guys in the middle of the order who can drive the ball, but we realize our role and we're trying to make the most of our offense.

That should, hopefully, be every player's goal -- to get up in those situations and want to come through. When the game is on the line, you bear down more. It doesn't always mean you come through. Something I may have done in the past is try to do too much.

The wind out there was a tough thing. You had to give it your best effort and keep your feet moving.

I appreciate it because I realize the things individuals go through to get to that opportunity. I feel so blessed. I'm thankful for that opportunity, but really, in some ways, you have to put it all behind you and you have to go out there and compete and play the game and find a way to get things done for the team.
