We were getting open opportunities. It was just a problem of stopping their little runs.

We really needed this one. If we had lost, we would not be going anywhere. Chris Reaves and Zach Whiting were the keys tonight.

We had two different guys (Dylan McCune and Whiting) taking turns on him. We knew he was their team and we wanted to force him to his left the minute he got the ball and the guys really brought the intensity.

We had to move him to the point spot, and that takes away his driving a little bit and all of his scoring opportunities are from a little bit of a different angle. It seemed like he was getting bumped around a lot.

We had to control the tempo a little better. Get a couple of (defensive) stops, and get a bucket. That's all we needed to do at that point.

It's meant to be low-level team competition and to motivate teachers and staff to participate in healthy behaviors. Principals in particular have given us really positive feedback; they said it helps the camaraderie of the faculty.

It was a big-time flop. It's not fair for an official to take everything you worked for away with the blow of a whistle. But what can you do?

It was a great season. I couldn't be more proud of our guys. They stepped up, and took it on their shoulders to take us to a place we haven't been to before.

We held Diggs to 16 points, so we did a good job on him, but that Dykstra has one of the prettiest shots I have ever seen. I felt like we defended him pretty well, but he scored 29 points, so I guess I can't say we held him down.

We knew we would have to set the tone and control the tempo the first five minutes of the second half.

Zack is our best defender, our best point guard. It would have been a different game with him in there.
