definitely either far focus game grind madness march playing
We want to focus game by game and definitely go as far as we can. Hopefully, we'll be playing the postseason somewhere, either in March Madness or the NIT. We're just going to grind every game out and see how far it can take us.
both far knew lose won
We knew it would have been a big setback to lose as far as the NIT and the RPI and all that stuff. But we won both games, so that's all that matters.
definitely focus mostly scores teams watch
We mostly focus on ourselves, but we definitely watch the scores to see what the other teams are doing and to see where we stand. We only have two losses, so we feel like we're right in it.
early left ran run
We didn't make our run early enough. And when we did make our run, we just didn't have enough left and we ran out of time.
bucket needed stop
We just couldn't get that bucket and we couldn't get that one stop we needed to get over the hump.
bad expect
You have to expect to play 40 minutes. It's something we're used to, it's not that bad. With the timeouts it's not bad conditioning-wise.
legs time
We get a little rest, get a lot of time to prepare, get our legs back a little bit.
everybody feels loosen lose relax sets tone
When you lose on the road, it sets a tone and everybody feels down. Now that we got the win, we can loosen up and just relax and play our game.
atmosphere bad couple games recently serious staying
You can tell it's a more serious atmosphere this week. I know I've had a couple of bad games recently and we lost. So I'm staying after every day, working on my shot.
came felt good hitting road shooting shot sudden
We came out and it was a little messy, sloppy, in the beginning. Then all of a sudden we started hitting shots. We were hitting shot after shot and it felt good because on the road we were shooting pretty bad.
bad chance giving shot shows team
It just wasn't our night. But as bad as we shot it, we still had a chance at the end. I think that shows what kind of team we are. We're not giving up.
We're still confident. It's a tournament, so anything can happen.
execution free throws
It comes down to free throws and execution.
control good last played stay
We played a little out of control the last time. As long as we stay in control and take good shots, we should be OK.
