We didn't match up well from the beginning and the foul trouble only made it worse. We got killed on rebounds. We were playing our small lineup against their big lineup.
add outdoor suppose
There's not too much of a difference. Outdoor spikes add something to your jump, so I suppose you never know what's going to happen.
excited hopefully opportunity toughest turn
That was one of the toughest things I've ever had to go through. We're excited about having the opportunity to play them again. Hopefully things will turn out a little differently this time.
cleared feet help knowing mental physical state time
Well, I know that I can do it now. It's really more of a mental thing than a physical thing, and knowing that I've cleared 7 feet before will help when it comes time for the state meet.

I believe they came in and thought we didn't have a chance, and things started going well for us.

If we could make some 3s, we could make it a better game. This is the time of the season you want to be hot.

I told them it's a new start and we are 0-0. Hopefully the way we played tonight will stay with us the rest of the year.
basketball high hurt played
It was basketball that really got me into (high jumping). I still played basketball even after I really got into high jumping, but more than one sport didn't hurt me in the high jump, that's for sure.

That happened the last time against them (in a 67-32 loss on Jan. 10). And that's two games in a row. Riverside came out blazing Tuesday.
