You never want to see somebody sick or hurt or to the point where it's a major surgery, especially something that he's already had done with his hip, in an area that can linger. I just pray that everything works out for him and we have him back here sooner than anyone thinks.

good guy helped job people pole seen struggle tremendous underrated weird
The guy is very underrated defensively. In Boston, he does such a good job with the Pesky Pole and that weird right field, and you've seen people struggle out there. Today, he made another tremendous play and helped us out.

The key was the Gregg Zaun at bat. He was able to get a ball up in the air that carried. That really changed the game for me. It was damage control after that.
