It would be nice for the last game of the season at least to have our full lineup.
There's so much at stake for us. We have to make sure to help out and keep the puck out of our net. We've done that a lot better the last three games.
We gave ourselves a chance to tie the game up right until the last couple of minutes. Sometimes you come up on the short side of things.
I've felt pretty good the last month, both physically and skating, but for me, it's more about timing and bearing down around the net. Tonight, I was more patient with the puck.
It was disappointing how last night ended up. Still, we should have had a better effort than we did tonight.
We're going to miss him in these last 10 games. I think Jason had a great year for us. That's sports, you can never tell what is going to happen. I think all teams go through injuries in the season, but it is not why we are where we are in the standings.
The way we were playing over the last two months, it could have been anyone to sit out. I know Tie, and he'll bounce back from this and work as hard as always.
I want to win the Stanley Cup, ... If we're going to bring in some older guys, they better be good, and if we are going to have some younger guys, we want them to be good, too, and become even better. I think it's a time and it's a franchise and a town where I don't think we can really sit back and rebuild. We have to go for it this year again, just the way we've been trying the last few years, and keep having good runs in the playoffs and hopefully get some more experience.
He's been playing great all year. He certainly deserved to be in the All-Star Game. He should've been there, but he didn't get a chance to go. He's certainly been one of our best players all year. I think he's proven the last few years that he's one of the best defensemen in the league and he certainly deserved to go this year.

For us older players probably playing our last Olympics, it was great to put it all together.
I'm not surprised. I watched him play in the world championships last year, and all I hear from Detroit is how great he's been playing there. He's an excellent defenseman and what a game he had tonight, coming in first game like that.
I like the way we played. We were patient even though there was no score for awhile. We did not give up a lot of turnovers. We had a few, but not as many as have had in the last couple of months. We'll take the points any way we can. I don't really care what it looks like.
A huge win for us, obviously. Last goal, it was great to see it go in. We didn't have our best game and things did not really go our way, but we found a way to battle. If we go into Boston and win, anything can happen.
