ball fight fly high intensity level players stands until whistle
The one thing that stands out is that they fly around to the ball. They have a real high level of intensity in their players on defense. Until the whistle is blown, they fight and get to the ball carrier. They never give up.
came drive execute good line offensive page pressure sustain together
We weren't on the same page all the time. That's where some of their pressure came from. Overall, the offensive line didn't play well today. We need to execute and sustain for 60 minutes, not just put together a good drive at the end of the game.
good lost players replaced
We lost two good players. But we replaced them with two players who can be even better.
great hard learning matter max offensive techniques tools
Max has all the tools to be a great offensive lineman in this league. It's just a matter of working hard and learning the techniques of the position.
corners cut noticed quite run seen stunts team wasted
But when they do blitz, I noticed that they're really precise. There's not a lot of wasted motion. They cut the corners real quick; they don't take any blitzes out too wide. When they run their stunts, it's the same things. I haven't seen any team run stunts and blitzes quite like them.
anyone brothers eyes father found kept kid mistakes oldest path raising telling wrong
I went down the wrong path a lot of times, ... But if my brothers found out, they'd come after me. It was those two who kept their eyes on me. My oldest brother really was like a father to me. He was a kid when he was raising me, so, really, he didn't have anyone telling him what to do. He didn't want me to make the same mistakes he made.
blew physical
It didn't look like they were more physical than us at all. They blew up a lot of plays. They were a lot quicker, and they penetrated a lot more than we probably assessed going into the game.
best ended recruiting
I ended up going there. That was my best recruiting trip.
almost depending games given great magnitude type
Given the type of games and the magnitude of the games, it's approaching (a great rivalry). If the games keep on depending on something like they have been, it's almost a given.
fast raw speed talent
He's got the kind of speed you can't coach. He's a raw talent, basically, but he's so fast and he's just all over the place.

bit burst hole miss people plays time touches
He's got some big plays in him every time he touches the ball, ... If we give him a little bit of room, he can burst through the hole and make a lot of people miss him and take it to the house.
fall far game losing playoffs salty sports surprised talked time watch
I talked to him after the game and he was real salty after the loss. That's understandable. To get that far and then fall short, I've experienced that. My first time losing in the playoffs I couldn't watch sports or have anything to do with it for months. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even watch this game.
