left success work year
This whole year has been set up for nothing but success and getting better every game. But there's a lot of work left for what we want.
battling pack points
Those points put us pretty much where we are, away from the pack that's battling for the playoffs.
bad bother bounce certainly close control deserved division games letting ourselves position top
We certainly deserved a better fate. You want to close those kind of games out, but a bad bounce is all it takes. We've put ourselves in a position to be close to the top of our division by not letting things that we can't control bother us.
caught coast couple difference hard high mode ourselves remember
We've been on coast mode for a couple weeks, and it caught up with us. I think we remember how hard it is to win, to put ourselves at these high expectations. It's a big difference to go out and do it. We haven't been doing it.
came looking point time together
But looking back, we can point to that time in our season. We came together a little bit.
good job keeping puck
We did a better job of keeping the puck tonight. We did a real good job of keeping the puck away from them.
body determination healthy job percent puck
Body healthy or not, it's my job to give 100 percent determination to keep that puck out at all costs.
absolutely bad catching finally knowing sloppy unprepared worst
We've had some bad starts, but that was our worst all season. To be unprepared like that, knowing what was coming, there's absolutely no excuse. Soft, sloppy play has been the characteristic of ourselves. We've just been getting by and pretending, and it's finally catching up with us.
head playing
I don't have to look at the films, ... I have a film playing in my head all of the time.
mean sure throw
I didn't mean to throw it, but I'm sure it was the right call.
chances worried
On the ice, it's not a big deal. We're just worried about the chances of it getting worse. Right now, I don't see it.
blocking hands pushing regret stroke
On my end, there was no intent, not even to stroke anyone. It was just an instinctive play after blocking the puck, just pushing my hands up and it was an unfortunate incident, something that I do regret now. I have to live with my mistake.
close concerned
We're concerned with the way we played. You want to close those out.
compete enjoy ready road
We're just going to enjoy (Tuesday and Wednesday) off to get ready to come back and get on the road and compete the way we can for 60 minutes. That's what it's all about now.
