aspect city ended extremely kansas played short
We were out-played. Kansas City I thought played extremely well in every aspect and we ended up on the short end of it.
fell short team win
We fell short of our goal, clearly, and that was to win the championship. But I wouldn't say that it is a team that underachieved.
commit credit due short stick
With all due credit to them, when you commit 13 fouls, you're going to come out on the short end of the stick in most cases.
ball ends factor field game history losing major opponent quite short single throughout turn winning
It was a game that ends up like most if you turn the ball over. You give the ball to the opponent on a short field and that is the one single thing that throughout the history of this game has always been the major factor in winning or losing games. We're quite disappointed.
designed era four people three win
To be able to do what they have done in an era in which everything is designed to get people to be .500 win-loss percentage, and they go out and win three championships in four years, to me that's remarkable.
area believe fact football light might perform question team today year
We did not perform well in any area today and that's awfully disappointing for all of us. We're a better football team than we were a year ago. I believe that. Some might question that in light of the fact that we didn't play very well today.
entire needs player stay throughout
If a player is on the sideline, he needs to stay there throughout the entire game.
finished found picked proud today
We finished things off today and picked up a big win. We battled and found a way. I couldn't be more proud of our men.
cannot complacent games good playing winning
We cannot be complacent with playing good but not winning games.
battle coming knew lived overall performance pleased
We knew coming in this was going to be a battle and it lived up to that...I was pleased with the overall performance of the team.
controlled huge invited last pulling today win
We controlled what we could today by pulling out a huge victory. We're still going to try to win the last two and see if we get invited when it's over. That's all we can do.
improve
We're very disappointed, but we are going to look at and see what we can do to improve for this week.
ability came everybody football plays terrific
Everybody got their money's worth. It was a terrific football game. It came down to our ability to make some plays in the end.
brady brings cases certainly confidence defense doubt field football game gang guy hope kicking offense overlook position talks team tom
Everyone talks about the confidence Tom Brady has in what he does and I don't doubt that. But let's not overlook the confidence that he brings to every other guy on that football team on offense or defense or the kicking game - 'let's get the ball back; let's get field position because Tom can do it.' He is certainly not a one-man gang there, but to me, the one thing a quarterback can bring is hope and certainly he not only brings you hope, but in most cases if you give him an opportunity, he will get it done.
