brady brings cases certainly confidence defense doubt field football game gang guy hope kicking offense overlook position talks team tom
Everyone talks about the confidence Tom Brady has in what he does and I don't doubt that. But let's not overlook the confidence that he brings to every other guy on that football team on offense or defense or the kicking game - 'let's get the ball back; let's get field position because Tom can do it.' He is certainly not a one-man gang there, but to me, the one thing a quarterback can bring is hope and certainly he not only brings you hope, but in most cases if you give him an opportunity, he will get it done.
At the end of the day, he'll be here, and that's what's most important.
good juncture year
At this juncture I don't think that we're punting it as good as we had a year ago.
balls brings couple element field kerry maybe obviously question threw thrown
There's no question that (missing) the big-play element that he brings was obviously a factor. I know that Kerry threw a couple of balls down the field that were overthrown. Had they been thrown to Randy, maybe they wouldn't have been overthrown.
dolphins fans head spoke
I spoke with ('72 Dolphins Head Coach) Don Shula right after the game. He congratulated me on the victory. The fans got their money?s worth. I thought it was going to come down to the end and it did.
surprised took
I should have still been able to get it done. I wasn't surprised they took me out.
This is a business, and I don't take it personally.
add chances destined football game likelihood lose percent strong winning
Add the minus-three giveaway-takeaway, I think there's a very, very strong likelihood that you're going to lose those football games. If you're minus-three giveaway-takeaway, the chances of winning a game are down around 20 percent or something like that. You can't live that way. If you live that way, you're destined for failure.
absolutely cannot coached football game last nfl remarkable remember time worked
The most remarkable thing of this whole football game, and I've been doing this a long time, I cannot remember the last time that I coached a game in the NFL when there was only one penalty. That was absolutely remarkable and unfortunately we had the one. But we'll get that worked out.
bottom line obvious playing
The bottom line is that right now we aren't playing well enough to win. I think that's an obvious statement.
explained family priority
As I've explained to him, his first priority is to his family.
breaking fingers point pushes stick
You've only got 10 fingers to stick in the dike. Is there a breaking point that pushes you over the edge? . . . Where's the limit?
albeit game gets himself opportunity player prepare sure unilateral
You're damned if you do, damned if you don't. You need to make sure that each player gets an opportunity to prepare himself for the game tempo, albeit (in) preseason. So you end up making arbitrary, unilateral decisions.
next surgery
The surgery will take place in the next day or so.
